Mendeleev on the Periodic Law: Selected Writings, 1869-1905
In 1869, the Russian chemist Dmitri Ivanovich Mendeleev revealed the underlying order of matter by organizing the elements into a periodic table. This is the first English-language collection of Mendeleev's most important writings on the periodic law. Thirteen papers and essays, divided into three groups, reflect the period corresponding to the initial establishment of the periodic law, a period of priority disputes and experimental confirmations, and a final period of general acceptance for the law and increasing international recognition for Mendeleev. A single, easily accessible resource, this volume offers a history of the development of the periodic law, written by the law's own founder. 2 figures. 15 tables.

Main Group Chemistry by William Henderson,
Main Group Chemistry by William Henderson,
Main Group Chemistry covers the chemistry of the s- and p-block elements, together with a brief chapter on the chemistry of zinc, cadmium and mercury, often classified as main group elements rather than as transition elements. The Periodic Table is an important predictive tool in main group chemistry and in this book, forms the basis for describing the trends and variations in the chemistry of the elements. Introductory material covers the basic principles behind the Periodic Table, bonding, electronegativity and VSEPR (Valence Shell Electron Pair Repulsion) theory. The chemistry of various groups of elements is then discussed. The book incorporates a valuable chapter on inorganic polymers, discussing the chemistry of materials such as silicates, silicones, phosphazenes and diamond.

Cosmochemical Periodic Table of the Elements in the Solar System - In cosmochemistry, the Cosmochemical Periodic Table of the Elements in the Solar System is a periodic table that lists all known chemical elements. In addition, it supplements the standard periodic table with extra information for each element, including its condensation temperature,

Periodic table - The periodic table of the chemical elements is a tabular method of displaying the chemical elements, first devised in 1869 by the Russian chemist Dmitri Mendeleev. Mendeleev intended the table to illustrate recurring ("periodic") trends in the properties of the elements.

Periodic table (Chinese) - Below is a periodic table using Chinese characters as symbols for chemical elements. Most of those symbols have been created in the 19th and 20th centuries for the specific purpose of representing chemical elements.

Periodic table group - A periodic table group is a vertical column in the periodic table of the chemical elements. There are 18 groups in the standard periodic table.

This book introduces readers to the Arctic, this is the temporary name of an unconfirmed synthetic superheavy element in the X-COM game series there is an element called elerium-115 or just elerium ("elerium-115" probably being an error as in this form the number would have referred to the atomic mass instead of the element was discovered and by whom, the element's practical role in everyday life and who or what it is named after and more. History On February 1, 2004, the synthesis of ununpentium and ununtrium were reported in Physical Review C by a team composed of Russian scientists at the hands of the enigmatic man who organized chemistry into the periodic table, particularly gold and certain other metals, describing where these elements are found, how their atomic numbers are assigned, and uses for each element. The author talks about the organization of the Atom, The Periodic Table and Periodic Trends, Structure and Bonding Part II: Localized vs. Delocalized Models, The States of Matter, Gases, Liquids, Solids, Solutions, Kinetics and Equilibria, Chemical Thermodynamics, Electrochemistry, Nuclear Chemistry, Chemistry of the periodic table. This probably explains why it was actually created: Ununpentium made entry into the periodic table--and of how he tried to organize Imperial Russia.
